Beach and Lake

Carver Lake Park and Beach 

Carver Lake Park and Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone visiting Woodbury. Its sandy beach, picnic areas and trails for biking and hiking make it an ideal spot to enjoy a sunny day. This attraction also features an off-road cycling trail and bike park, perfect for riders of all skill levels, from beginners to experts.  

Playground

Valley Creek Park 

The 70-acre Valley Creek Park is another gem in the community, offering expansive spaces that include a playground, scenic trails and plenty of benches to relax and take in the surroundings.  

Central Park 

Woodbury Central Park, set to reopen in fall 2025, will feature exciting updates, including a newly renovated Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground. This imaginative space will provide children with opportunities to climb, explore and learn, rain or shine. When it opens this fall, the community center will offer walking paths, scenic green spaces and a central gathering area, making it a favorite spot for relaxation and community events.  Central Park will be the premier meeting space in Woodbury, with seating for approximately 325 guests at round tables, making it an ideal venue for all gatherings. 

Inclusive Playground

Madison’s Place Playground 

Madison’s Place Playground is another highlight in Woodbury. This inclusive play area is designed to be accessible to children of all abilities, with features like sensory equipment, ramps and shaded play decks. 

More Parks to Choose From  

Ojibway Park is a favorite destination, offering a wide range of amenities, including green spaces, sports fields, a bandshell for live performances and a skate park that is fun for all ages. For four-legged friends, Andy’s Bark Park features an off-leash area where dogs can run and play freely, making it a perfect spot for pet owners to enjoy the outdoors.
