Woodbury continues to be a shining example of how thoughtful urban planning and natural beauty can go hand in hand. As the 7th largest city in Minnesota—with a growing population now topping 80,000—it still manages to maintain its close-knit community feel. What makes Woodbury a great place to live and visit? Of its many standout features, Parks and green spaces would be towards the top of that list.
In fact, outdoor recreation is a big part of the Woodbury experience. The city boasts over 180 miles of trails, 3,600 acres of green space and eight lakes, all intentionally designed for accessibility, connection and year-round use. Whether you're staying in Woodbury or exploring the Twin Cities region, there’s likely a beautiful park nearby waiting to be discovered.
