Home to all four seasons, we love spending time outdoors in Woodbury! With approximately 180 miles of multi-use trails and 3,600 acres of parkland, including eight tranquil lakes, our community offers year-round activities for visitors of all ages.
Parks & Playgrounds for All Ages
Families and children will love spending time at our parks and playgrounds. Madison’s Place Playground, a 16,000-square-foot inclusive play area, includes sun-shade-covered play decks, swings, sensory equipment and wheelchair-accessible ramps, ensuring children of all abilities can play together. Adjacent to Madison’s Place is the Splash Pad, a water feature open from late May through early September, providing a refreshing escape during warmer months.
Carver Lake Park and Beach is another crowd favorite, featuring a swimming beach, picnic areas and trails for biking and walking. The park also includes an off-road cycling trail, jump trail and a bike park, perfect for both new and experienced riders.

Woodbury's dedication to recreation shines through our extensive trail system. Our trails, perfect for walking and biking, showcase a variety of natural landscapes, including serene lakes, lush woodlands, open fields, wetlands and waterways.
Golf & Sports Recreation
For golf enthusiasts, Woodbury is home to a couple of courses, including Eagle Valley Golf Course, a city-owned 18-hole championship course known for its excellent playing conditions and variety of programs for men, women, couples and juniors. Prestwick Golf Club offers a par 72 championship course featuring five sets of tees and large undulating greens, providing a challenging yet enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels.
Beyond the greens, the M Health Fairview Sports Center is our hub for recreational sports, including hockey, soccer, lacrosse, baseball and football. Its facilities can accommodate practices, games and tournaments.
