In Woodbury, we may love to shop, dine and play sports. But we are also passionate about the great outdoors! Our community boasts an expansive network of trails that cater to hikers, cyclists, nature lovers and families alike. With a mix of paved pathways, unpaved nature trails and off-road cycling routes, Woodbury offers countless opportunities to enjoy the natural beauty of Minnesota. 

Hike or Walk  

For walking and hiking enthusiasts, Tamarack Nature Preserve is a must-visit destination. This 169-acre preserve is known for its lush wetlands and unique plant life, offering unpaved trails that immerse visitors in a serene, natural environment. As you explore, take time to appreciate the area’s rich biodiversity, including marsh plants, birds and other wildlife that call the preserve home. 

Ojibway Park is another great spot for walkers and hikers, featuring both paved and unpaved trails that are perfect for leisurely strolls or family outings. These trails provide easy access to Woodbury’s beautiful landscapes and connect seamlessly to nearby neighborhoods and parks, making them ideal for a quick walk or an afternoon adventure. 

Bike-Friendly Trails 

Cyclists will find plenty to enjoy in Woodbury, especially at the Carver Lake Bike Park. This park includes an off-road cycling trail that caters to riders of all skill levels, offering a mix of fun and challenging terrain. The surrounding trails provide additional opportunities for scenic rides, whether you are cycling solo or with friends and family. 

Beyond the park, other local trail favorites include the Colby Lake Loop and Powers Lake Trail, both offering scenic routes perfect for a leisurely ride or a workout. We will see you out on the trail!
