Welcome to "What's New," the Destination: Woodbury blog that brings you new and exciting updates around the city. Here are five attractions opening in 2025 that we're really excited about.
Central Park
Following a very exciting renovation and expansion, Central Park is gearing up for a fall re-opening. A regional draw in Woodbury, the park will feature expanded public gathering spaces, updated greenery and water features, the new Lookout Ridge Indoor Playground, and more room for art installations and public displays. Additionally, a new large multi-purpose space will be available, capable of hosting over 300 people and divided into smaller sections for different events and programs. The park will also feature upgraded technology throughout its programming areas.
Lookout Ridge
Lookout Ridge is a popular indoor playground reopening this fall. Part of the Central Park Renovation Project, the updated playground will offer more than 60 exciting play features, including a 27-ft helix slide, moonwalk climber, and a multi-lane slide, all in a space designed for children 12 and under. A designated area for toddlers, featuring soft play features and slides, will also be available. Central Park continues to serve as a vibrant community hub for indoor activities in Woodbury.
Topgolf
Topgolf is coming to Woodbury! Opening in late 2025, this will be its second location in the Twin Cities. Located near the intersection of Interstates 94 and 494, the 68,000-square-foot entertainment facility will include 102 outdoor, climate-controlled hitting bays on three levels according to the news release.
